I’ve been having recurring trouble with the gallery plug-in on the Design Portfolio page. I hope to have this resolved asap, but in the meantime it may be wonky. Just letting you know.

Updates for 2013
I’m working on some updates to this website for the new year. I’m hoping to make it all much more visually interesting and less minimalist as it has been. I’ve also been working out some strategy for the year to be more involved in the website and blog throughout the year and not just blogging when something strikes my fancy.
Getting my tools out and making changes!
Expanded Website
Sooo, I have finally migrated all of my online creative content to this site. And, by so doing, hope to make this a much more robust website. So please be sure to hold me to it. I had played around with a few new designs for the site, but in the end, I returned back to the existing design.
My design portfolio is now live on the site here.
I will be adding some more galleries around of both my graphic design and fine art photography soon. Stay tuned!
Migrating the New Site
I’m working this week on the new site here. Be patient in the meantime. Some of the portfolio pages may be wonky here and there. But it will all be fixed asap.

Changes are a comin’ – a short note
I’ve decided to integrate my websites and bring them both to this site. Even though I haven’t posted much lately here, I plan to change that in a big way.
Some of the changes:
- Site redesign
- Increased blogging
- More design oriented than photography (reflecting my life path better)
I’m not sure of my time frame since I’m so busy right now. But I do hope to get this done quite soon.

I’ve been getting more and more addicted to Instagram. Something that I was warned about before I started, I should have listened. Actually, I did listen. That was kind of a selling point for me. I wish you could customize the settings and combine them differently, but even still, it’s pretty fun to be limited and work to make the best decision based on what’s best for each image. I love that having an iPhone means that I always have a decent camera with me, always. And I love that I can do a wide range of post-processing while I’m out and about, not having to wait until I’m at my desk. I also love that this, for me, serves as constant inspiration for making photographic artwork.
My username on Instagram is: carllondon, follow me! Here’s a sampling of the photos I’ve uploaded.
Notions of Eden
With the making of this new site I have been unveiling my new show of work – Notions of Eden. I have been working on these photographs for a while now and am really excited about getting them out to show the world.
I am slowly working on my artists statement which will be posted with the work here. I have many ideas about what I want to say and am having trouble getting it to a more concise point to post. The gist of it is looking at the new artificial world we are creating around our industrial areas to bring the nature back.
I am also happy to announce that this work is just the start of a rather inspired period I’ve found myself in right now. So, hopefully, I’ll be posting many more groups of work here in the near future as I get them closer to fruition. It’s always very exciting to find yourself in an inspired time! It’s been too long for me an I plan to make the most of it.
Site Finally Live!
CarlLondon.com is finally live!!! Of course, you’re there now if you’re reading this. I’m looking forward to making this site a great portal for displaying my work.
iPhone Updates
Woohoooooo! I can finally update my blog with my mobile. This may sound lame, but it’s a huge victory for me.
New Website
I am excited to announce that my new website is hitting the world at large!!!
Those of you who’ve been to my existing commercial site SquidBelly Creative will be familiar with most of what’s here. Or, at the very least, my books. What’s new is my exciting new project called Notions of Eden. It’s a series of nightscapes that I’m currently working on and hope that they’ll be as well received as my books have been. It’s quite a departure artistically, but getting out of that comfort zone has done me a wealth of good and the inspiration is flowing like crazy now. I plan to be well underway very soon on a completely different project that I’m in planning stages for already despite being in the middle of  the nightscapes.
