I’ve been having recurring trouble with the gallery plug-in on the Design Portfolio page. I hope to have this resolved asap, but in the meantime it may be wonky. Just letting you know.

Updates for 2013
I’m working on some updates to this website for the new year. I’m hoping to make it all much more visually interesting and less minimalist as it has been. I’ve also been working out some strategy for the year to be more involved in the website and blog throughout the year and not just blogging when something strikes my fancy.
Getting my tools out and making changes!
Expanded Website
Sooo, I have finally migrated all of my online creative content to this site. And, by so doing, hope to make this a much more robust website. So please be sure to hold me to it. I had played around with a few new designs for the site, but in the end, I returned back to the existing design.
My design portfolio is now live on the site here.
I will be adding some more galleries around of both my graphic design and fine art photography soon. Stay tuned!
Migrating the New Site
I’m working this week on the new site here. Be patient in the meantime. Some of the portfolio pages may be wonky here and there. But it will all be fixed asap.

Changes are a comin’ – a short note
I’ve decided to integrate my websites and bring them both to this site. Even though I haven’t posted much lately here, I plan to change that in a big way.
Some of the changes:
- Site redesign
- Increased blogging
- More design oriented than photography (reflecting my life path better)
I’m not sure of my time frame since I’m so busy right now. But I do hope to get this done quite soon.

New Work Coming Very Soon!
It’s been kinda slow around the site recently. I’m working on a new body of work that I photographed two years ago and is now getting ready to be on display. These are some black and white landscapes from the northwest U.S. I am really excited about them and can’t wait to show you all.
Here’s a (differently formatted) teaser…
Looking West
I’ve been inspired, through some of the iphone projects at hand to revisit some work I’ve done over the last five years and look at it with a new vision. The first of these is some telescope portraits I did in Washington state. Looking West is the small collection of these images. I have many more that I’m working on bringing together in new ways and I hope to have these posted quite soon. Let me know what you think about this new work.
Video
This is a few months old, as you can tell by the abundance of snow in the video, but I thought it was worth posting here. I finally got around to experimenting with shooting and editing video on my iPhone. It’s a pretty cool process, I’m not sure why I haven’t done any of this before now. My dog Jack absolutely loves snow and plastic flower pots. This film documents that love, or tries to anyway.
New Photographs… and a goose!
I finally got a chance to get back out and work on some more photographs. I haven’t been able to in way too long. It was a very inspired outing and I got some great images. I have added three new photographs to the Notions of Eden collection. I’m very excited about them and the show as a whole. Below is one of the newest images that’s actually going to be considered an outtake It will not be part of the show, but I like it nonetheless. It is also representative of something I rarely do as it’s a composite image.
While I was making a 2 minute exposure (actually of one of the new pieces that made the cut) I was looking around and just behind me was a goose perched on her nest. Right there beside the parking area. She was extremely still and I took a long exposure of her that came out sharp. Of course, she was probably trying to sleep and here was this crazy guy checking her out. She was quite beautiful I must say.
New Cards!
I now have new business cards for my fine art photography. I have had some for my commercial art, but to me, these are way more exciting. As always Moo does a standup job with their printing.
